ECO VOLUNTEERING This is a Community Based Conservation Program for a practical application and implementation of environmentally sound solutions in an attempt to solve socio-economic and environmental problems at grassroots level in Tanzania, East Africa. Interested Volunteers are placed into local living villages to experience, work, and share skills and with local communities to which they are attached. With our ECO-PLACEMENTS, Volunteers get the opportunity to:- Participate in Day to Day "Hands On" Village Development and Conservation Activities, Support Village Improvement Small Scale Development and Conservation Activities, Learn and Experience African Cultural Issues particularly of an ethnic group from which Volunteer attached. In addition, Volunteers can also teach Foreign Languages, Environmental Issues, Health Issues, Science Subjects, etc in Primary & Secondary Schools and organized Adult classes. ECO VOLUNTEERING operate in the following areas of concentration in Tanzania, East Africa:- In Local Living Villages On Slopes of Mountain Kilimanjaro, In Local Living Villages in Usambara Mountains, In Local Living Villages in Maasai Land, In Moshi, the town of Mount Kilimanjaro. Our ECO-PLACEMENTS are available to interested Individuals aging from 18 to 35 years old for duration of One (1) Month to One (1) Year period depending on the choice and interest of Volunteers themselves.
